What are Cosmeceutical Peels?

What does it do?

Peels remove dead skin cells so skin looks brighter and feels smoother. Peels increase collagen production and plump-up the skin to reduce lines & wrinkles. Peels also provide deep cleansing to prevent milia, whiteheads, blackheads and acne. After a peel the skin becomes highly hydrated, soft and dewy.

What happens during a peel?

We thoroughly cleanse your skin and apply the peel solution for up to 3 minutes, then more cleansing to ensure the peel is fully removed and apply moisturiser and SPF - simple!

Does a peel hurt?

No, we call the sensation a ‘stingle’, a strong tingling but only for the 3 minutes that the peel is on the skin.

Will my skin fall off?

No, you can have some light shedding (dry skin) a couple of days after the treatment but most people have nothing at all.

Is it safe?

Very safe. However like most treatments it has some medical limitations. A free consultation is recommended if you have any additional questions or would like further advice as to whether this is the right treatment for you.
