Parking

If you are visiting us by car then you may find the following parking information useful. Parking controls operate mainly between Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm. Below are several locations with dedicated parking bays available for non-residents.

Parking Areas
Friars Stile Road
Friars Stile Road has various bays available for visitors to park in.

Cardigan Road
Cardigan Road, Montague Road and Onslow Road all have a few visitor parking spaces at the top of the road.

Marlborough Road
Marlborough Road has a few visitor parking spaces at the bottom of the road.

Queens Road
Queens Road is free of charge to park on.

Richmond Hill
Richmond Hill has shared parking spaces, which means that both permit holders and visitors can park in these bays.

Kings Road
Kings Road is free to park on after 4.30pm Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.

RingGo Cashless Parking
If you live in the Borough and have a RingGo cashless parking account you are entitled to 30 minutes free parking in the Pay and Display parking bays. Most of the parking machines have a RingGo service, this means that you can pay through your mobile phone. Parking can also be topped up using this service.

We are based in Zone A2 and the charges are as follows – 15 minutes £0.70, 30 minutes £1.35, 45 minutes £2.05, 1 hour £2.70, 1 hour 30 minutes £4.05, 2 hours £5.40, 2 hours 30 minutes £7.00, 3 hours £8.65, 3 hours 30 minutes £10.25, 4 hours £11.85. Most of the pay machines are 1 hour maximum parking. However, it is important to check these before parking.
