How does it work?
This advanced procedure uses laser to destroy the overactive bacteria that causes spots and inflammation. The laser energy is attracted to the bacteria without damaging the surrounding skin. Clearskin also assists exfoliation and the skins natural healing response, which will calm inflammation and boost collagen to begin the repair of acne scarring.

What does acne look like?
Acne presents on the skin as inflamed raised bumps that can be sensitive to touch, often appearing as a whitehead (with pus) and can leave scarring behind during and after healing.
Is the treatment painful?
Pain tolerance varies from person to person. However in general Clearskin treatment is very comfortable. Whilst we work over active acne there may be more of an uncomfortable sensation.
Do I need a course of treatment?
Yes, a course of treatment is required, depending on the severity of the acne. On a moderate acne a course of around 6 sessions is required with 2 week intervals between sessions.
Can Clearskin be used on other parts of the body?
Yes! Clearskin can be used anywhere that acne is present. Clearskin has a great effect on the back acne can often be found.
Is there any age restrictions?
We have age restrictions on all of our treatments at SKIN Lounge due safety reasons and the body constantly changing. Clearskin requires a minimum age of 16 years old, anything below that age will need parent or guardian consent and chaperoning.
