How does it work?

Our bespoke Medi-Facials can be adapted to any skin type, from those who feel their skin would benefit from a really deep clean to super redness prone. Sometimes, the build up of oils and dirt on our skin can become trapped under dead skin cells if not being cleaned thoroughly enough. This can then lead to breakouts, blocked pores, acne related issues and sensitivity.

Using the fantastic range of Alumier MD skincare we thoroughly cleanse and exfoliate the skin using ingredients such as Salicylic Acid. The longer facial includes massage of the face, neck, head and décolletage, finishing the treatments with a range of luxury products. These unique facials will target your individual skin concerns and leave your skin totally transformed.

Adding steam and extraction to these facials is a really good option for treating blackheads, Milia or any other build up within the skin that you wish to remove. The skin can look red afterwards if a large area has been treated so we do recommend that you have no social plans scheduled if you are booking the steam and extraction add on.

All of our Medi-facials include the incredible Dermalux LED Phototherapy, a medical grade device, improving results of a standard facial by 200%. This Light Therapy is very safe for every skin type or concern with adjustable levels depending on skin issue.

The list of facials and Add on services can be confusing, we dont expect you to know what is best for your skin. Let us know the results you’re looking for and we will do the rest.

The Bespoke Medi Facials are the perfect option for starting out with medical grade skin treatments. Sometimes, the products we have at home aren't efficient enough to clean the skin, let alone give you any results, so having a professional really personalise a facial to your skin needs makes the world of difference!

— Lucy

Skilled therapists offering an excellent range of treatments within a professional yet warm and friendly environment. The facial is pampering at its best! SKIN lounge never disappoints, they are consistently excellent. I love this place.

FAQs

FAQs

How should I cleanse effectively?

Correct cleansing should leave your skin looking and feeling clean without any tightness, redness or parched feeling afterwards. Using the correct cleanser for your skin will contribute to a healthy complexion. Cleansing should take place every morning and evening using warm water and a flannel. Anything less than this will not be doing the job properly.

What skin types suit a Medi-Facial?

We can adapt all of our facials to suit your skin type. Whether you’re suffering from acne related issues to full sensitivity and redness, we will make sure you receive the perfect facial. All you have to do is decide how long you’d like to spend with us!

Why should I continue my care at home?

Imagine us as your ‘personal trainer’ and your home care products as your ‘healthy eating’. Coming for a facial will boost the skin but will have an unlimited lasting result if you are using a cosmeceutical product regime at home.

If you ever experience something that you consider out of the ordinary or anything unexpected post treatment, please inform us immediately.

What’s the difference between a cosmetic and cosmeceutical?

A cosmetic is a product that you can buy over the counter in a department store which only has a temporary effect on the surface of the skin whilst it is applied – what you apply in the morning is simply washed down the sink at night. A cosmeceutical is a professional product that uses active ingredients with high concentrations and are scientifically proven to penetrate deeper into the living part of your skin to ensure visible, lasting results.
