FAQ’s

We use the premium, FDA-approved Studex System 75 ear-piercing device, which offers a sterile, touch-free procedure with disposable single-use cartridges, a clearly visible stud in sealed sterile packaging, and a gentle action for a quick, virtually painless piercing, using only jewellery-quality System 75 earrings.

Most people describe the pain as a quick, sharp pinch that lasts only a second. Pain levels vary depending on the person and the piercing location (lobes hurt less than cartilage).

Healing time depends on your aftercare routine and your body’s natural response, with cartilage piercings typically taking longer to heal than standard earlobe piercings.

From 6 weeks for ear lobes and 12 weeks for cartilage.

We pierce from 10 years with parent or guardian consent.

Clean your new piercing 2-3 times a day with the provided aftercare solution, gently rotate the earring half a turn, keep the area dry, avoid touching with unwashed hands, keep hair products and shampoo away (rinsing after washing), try to sleep on the opposite side, thoroughly clean and dry the piercing after swimming or exercise, and never push the butterfly back toward the ear – always keep it at the tip of the post.

Signs of infection can include persistent redness or swelling, yellow or green pus, warmth and pain around the piercing, and in more severe cases, fever.

Often yes, but your practitioner will need to check the tissue first. Thick scar tissue may require repositioning.
